✎ permissions post

CHARACTER NAME: Yehudit, also known as "Ravine"
CHARACTER SERIES: Original (from a post-apocalyptic/horror series called Days be Done)

This is the permissions list for OOC (out of character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired.

Backtagging: Always.
Threadhopping: Definitely.
Fourth-walling: Ravine might be difficult to fourth-wall herself, but she is fourth-wall aware. If you have a character that you think she could relate to on that front, that could be fun. Otherwise, I'll avoid bringing it up altogether to play it safe.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): [TBA]

This is the permissions list for IC (in-character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired. With IC permissions, it's a good idea to elaborate on what other players can expect from your character if they choose to do any of the following:

Hugging this character: Sure.
Kissing this character: Maybe. Just don't expect to get anything out of it.
Flirting with this character: If you think your character would, then go ahead. Shipping options are very limited for her, given that she is an ancient entity who lacks the ability to sexually perform or derive any gratification out of it. For the most part, she is asexual.
Fighting with this character: Ravine does not fight anything that isn't a malevolent spirit from her world, period. So unless the circumstances are very extreme, she will not fight your character. Short answer: No.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Don't expect any lasting injuries as she almost immediately regenerates from them. Otherwise, go crazy.
Killing this character: Ravine is immortal so she can't really die. If there are any special circumstances involved, then I'd rather talk it over first.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Being telepathic herself, she will definitely be aware of any mental intrusions, but I am open for anything so long as we talk things over first! I likewise intend to extend the same courtesy with Ravine as well.

Warnings: [TBA]

✘ permissions

Long story short: Ravine is psychic. She can not only see into one's past and future and different outcomes/timelines that they could have taken, she is capable of entering one's consciousness and manipulating their perception, showing them visions, or enter their dreams as either a guide, companion, or watcher. You can read more about the specifics of her psychic abilities on her
powers page and basic info.

I will, of course, be open to handling the dream/mindsharing on a case-by-case basis, as it's expected that what she would see/experience would change based on what that individual is experiencing themselves at that time.

Additionally, Ravine is fourth-wall aware, and knows that she is a fictional character. While this won't be a concern in game as she knows better than to share the details of the reality that we're all barbies being smashed together by bored individuals on the internet, I just want to say that that is a thing!

Basically what I want to know from players in the form below:

Do you mind if Ravine drops in on your character's personal space/dwelling unawares? Yes, no, why, ticky box? Ravine has a rather questionable sense of personal bubbles, so she tends to get all up in their business whether they're aware of it or not. This means that they might wake up to some lady on their ceiling or her head poking through a wall. Seeing that she can't "erase" herself from the living world like she can in her canon, being a watcher is going to be a little more difficult for her, but she still would be able to hang out on your wall/ceiling like a creep.

Would Ravine be able to hear/see your character's thoughts? Yes or no. We can always discuss details later if yes. If no, it could be because either your character is psychic as well or has a psychic block. We can also talk about how this might affect a non-physical/living character (for example, I doubt that she would be able to hear the thoughts of a machine, so I'd say that robots would be exempt).

Can Ravine tell whether or not your character is dead or alive? As one can expect, she would have a sense for whether or not someone has a soul, and the state that soul is in. This would mostly affect characters that are dead in their canons, ghosts/apparitions of some kind, and any non-humans that exhibit certain special abilities. Feel free to ask if you have questions about this!

Would Ravine be able to see your character's past/future/alternate realities? Whether it's for Hadriel or their canon, it can still apply. Keep in mind that Ravine has a strong belief in not asserting herself in the lives of the living, so chances are she won't go all Fortune Teller on you unless it's for some reason absolutely necessary. If your character comes from a canon where there are multiple routes/endings, she would be able to read those as well. Let me know what you think about the last one, as that's a biggie and differs from character to character!

If your character dies, would you be open to having them interact with Ravine? As a Psychopomp, she is able to speak with dead souls. However, this is limited to her being only able to speak with them, as she would never execute a soul that is supposed to be resurrected

Do you wish to opt out entirely? You don't have to give a specific answer why! I am going to be screening this post so people can feel more comfortable with their answers, if it helps. :)

I would also like to reiterate that Ravine will NOT be fourth walling your character! Not unless your character has similar fourth walling capabilities, because she might want to commiserate in that.

But in any case, just if there are any concerns of that ever happening, rest easy.
